Celebrating 50 years at the LCR

The LCR is our live music venue and nightclub situated on campus.

Now in it’s 50th year, the LCR has played host to some of the world’s top bands! Acts such as U2, Kasabian, Faithless, Duran Duran, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Iron Maiden and many more, have all performed in this very venue.

The LCR also host regular clubnights alongside special events such as Bingo Lingo and award evenings.

With it's state-of-the-art audio and visual effects systems, we're proud to say that the LCR is the biggest venue in Norfolk, drawing crowds of 2000 club- and gig-goers on a regular basis. Now in it's 50th year, half a century of memories have been made in this iconic venue and we look forward to you making yourself a part of it's history!

The LCR is Norwich's premium student clubnight venue, hosting FOUR separate nights on a regular basis. Each has it's own playlist and vibe, so we're sure you'll find your perfect night.

A List

A LIST is the best and only place to be on a Saturday in Norwich, we bring three separate rooms to meet everyone’s discerning taste in music. With chart hits in the main LCR, RnB in the Hive and House in the Blue Bar, you’ll love being on the A List.

Sports Night

Sports Night is the Wednesday night party that will have you going wild every week! An iconic sing-a-long, hands in the air student party, mixing current and cool with classic student anthems. Expect top 40, guilty pleasures and of course... Angels!
