Girls Are Loud is proud to present International Women's Day 2024 showcase.

Kitty Perrin is a singer-songwriter based in Norwich.
At the age of 11, Kitty began song-writing under the unlikely guidance of DR Feelgood guitarist Gordon Russell. She quickly discovered her love for the blunt narrative song-writing styles of pop artists like Lily Allen and Kate Nash, finding new heroes later on in indie legends like Bright Eyes and Lucy Dacus.
Her bold, pop tinged folk-style song-writing has earned acclaim from BBC Radio 1, 6 Music, Clash, Beats per Minute, and more.
With intimate story-telling and unabashed honesty, Kitty has an infallible ability to connect with her audiences on everything from family, love, friendship and even super-powers.

Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of Aphra, where melodies become emotions and rhythms paint vivid narratives. Aphra's genre-weaving sound invites you to explore uncharted territories of emotion and imagination. Join the journey, as each note tells an intimate depiction of life as a late adolescent.

Norwich super group Hex Friends have made a mark on the local scene. With a sound that has shades of grunge, post-punk, slacker-rock and dream-pop the three-piece make music to dance, thrash and sway too.
Think Sick Joy, Dream Nails and Sorry all blended up and you get a little taste of Hex Friends.
