Who represents you
postgraduate(su) is run by your Postgraduate Education Officer, the Postgraduate Committee, and the Postgraduate Assembly.
What does postgraduate(su) do?
We’re here to be your voice at the University. Whether it’s improving your academic experience or ensuring you’ve got the right spaces to study, relax, and socialise, we’ve got you covered. Here’s what we’re all about:
- Representing YOU at the PGR Executive, Graduate School Forums, and in all the university meetings where postgraduate concerns are on the agenda.
- Putting on brilliant events throughout the year to help you balance your studies with some downtime. We know life as a postgrad can be busy, so we focus on the quieter periods (Winter and Summer!) to keep you connected and energised. - Running the PG Assembly and PG Committee. These aren’t just meetings — they’re your opportunity to influence real change. As a postgraduate, you’re automatically a member of the Postgraduate Assembly, and if you’re passionate about getting involved, you can stand for election to the Postgraduate Committee. These groups meet throughout the year and give you a platform to hold your reps to account and ensure your voice is heard.
