(1) Training Officer
- Role: Facilitate training opportunities, particularly in first aid and emergency response.
- Responsibilities:
- Arrange first aid workshops with certified British Red Cross trainers for members.
- Promote skills development among students, aligning with the Red Cross’s emergency response focus (British Red Cross, 2025).
- Track participation and certification progress
- Purpose: Equips members with practical skills, enhancing the society’s impact and appeal.

(2) Communications Officer
- Role: Manage the society’s outreach and publicity.
- Responsibilities:
- Update social media and the society’s page on the UEA Students’ Union website (UEA Students’ Union, 2025).
- Create promotional materials (e.g., flyers, newsletters) for events and recruitment.
- Liaise with UEA media outlets (e.g., Concrete newspaper) to highlight society activities.

- Purpose: Amplifies the society’s reach, attracting new members and raising awareness of Red Cross initiatives.
(3) Welfare and Inclusion Officer
- Role: Ensure the society is accessible and supportive for all members.
- Responsibilities:
- Promote diversity and inclusion in activities, reflecting UEA’s University of Sanctuary status.
- Provide a point of contact for member concerns or accessibility needs.
- Organise wellbeing-focused events, such as stress-relief sessions during exam periods.
