We are a medium sized society, with students across all years of study and skating ability. We're very welcoming of new members and make sure that the space is a fun and safe environment for everyone to skate and socialise with eachother.
· What Happens in the Society, aside from Skating?
Aside from regular skate sessions, we will also be running social events such as movie nights, pub quiz nights and the societies faviourite; SK8Soc into the city bar crawl night :)
- I have Never Skated Before, but I am Interested in Learning and Trying it out. Can I sign up?
Skating is less about ability, and more about having fun on the procedure. We have spare complete skateboards, as well as safety gear, and absolutely welcome people who have never tried skating before, in fact most of the society is typically made up with people that have little previous experience!
- When are the Skate Sessions, and Where?
We host a weekly practice session at Eaton park skatepark (10min walk away from central UEA campus). This happens every Monday from 3-5pm and Wednesday 1-3pm, weather permitting!
The session will be a workshop to improve our skills, as well as to socialize with other students, and get clips for our yearly video! The session is usually followed by a drink to hydrate and relax afterwards.
By becoming a member you will be added to the society GC, where members can ask each other questions, discuss skateboarding, ask for tips, and see if anyone is free for a skate!

There's a £4 membership fee for the full year, which goes towards the costs of equipment and events, helping us to make the most of our community. Trust me, it's gonna be the best £4 you ever spent~!
