UEA Medsoc
UEA Student Society of 2020 | Shortlisted for National Fundraising Society of 2016
We are a largest student-led society at the University of East Anglia. We represent medical students at every level within the university and we work closely with academic staff and the student union to ensure that you are fully supported throughout your time at medical school.
What we do:
Organise a wide range of social events, including the famous MedSoc Freshers' Week!
Work closely with the medical school and SU to represent you and your needs as medical students.
Provide financial support to our members - all members can apply for conference bursaries of £20 per year, and our hardship fund of up to £100.
£10 discount off joining a Medic sports team in your first year!
Lectures on intercalation and electives.
Exclusive revision materials and events.
Support smaller medical societies through our Societies Fund, worth up to £4000.
Fantastic charity events - we have recently raised over £3000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
Winter formals and much more!
And so much more!
