Welcome to UEA Darts Society 2024/25!

UEA Darts Society offers students the chance to play darts in an relaxed accessible environment on campus on a weekly basis. We are welcome to absolutely everyone, with any level of experience - you don't even need to have picked up a dart before or know anything about the game! The sport is easy to get to grips with and we're all about just having a good time.

We have some big things planned for this year!

Mondays:

We'll be continuing with our Monday weekly sessions on campus (room & times TBC) - this time with 6 boards so more time for everyone to play. The first part of the session will be some general practice/minigames followed by a friendly pairs tournament, with the last part of the evening being a more competitive singles knockout tournament as part of the semester league!

Tuesdays:

Then Tuesdays we plan on holding socials, whether that be darts-based or general socials, at pubs, bars, across the city. We'll keep you updated here on more details before semester starts in September!

Come and find us at the societies fair in Welcome Week in September to chat with us and find out more - we'll also hold some Give It A Go sessions that week so you can try our society before becoming a member. If you miss the Give It A Go sessions, don't worry, your first session with us over the year will be free! Then you can become a member if you enjoy.

Membership costs £5 for the entire year (you won't need to pay for a SAM membership) and with this you can come to every event we hold. This £5 will help us supply the necessary equipment that enable us to run these events - including darts, dart boards and stands, as well as organising socials.

Follow us on Instagram at uea_darts to keep up to date with everything, and when you become a member you'll be invited to our Whatsapp group chat too. See you in September!
