We are the newest medical society in town, we are the Norwich undergraduate cardiothoracic surgical society. We aim to increase student awareness and engagement with cardiothoracic surgery-one of the most misunderstood surgical fields. Being by far the most competitive surgical specialities out there we intent to hold teaching events and career talks by cardiothoracic trainees and consultants in this field to ensure UEA graduates are entering this intense yet rewarding speciality.
