Sailing Training

Training sessions are perfect for those who already have a solid understanding of the basics and are keen to improve upon specific skills. Each week, there will be a specific focus of the session, and the coach will work with you to improve upon that skill. By the end of the year, you should have all the skills needed to be competitive in any club racing scenario! 

We do provide transport, and will leave promptly at 1pm from the LCR turning circle - please let us know if you are going to be late otherwise you might get left behind! We should be back on campus by 6pm latest. We can also provide some sailing kit if needed. 

Training sessions costs £4.00 - this goes towards our fuel costs.  

Accessibility is important to us, but unfortunately there are limitations on who can take part in training. If you are unsure if you could take part, please get in touch and we will do everything we can to adapt the sessions to suit your needs.  

Some things to bring, if you can: 

• BA, salopettes, gloves, etc 

• Start watch 

• Bailer/sponge 

• Red flag
