We will meet in the Hive at 5pm and will leave campus at 5.30pm. If this is your first time, please ensure you arrive early so you can try skates on, meet other skaters and maybe grab a coffee! We normally sit in the chairs next to the piano.
Don't worry if this is your first time on the ice, there will be many members of the society willing and able to help!
The journey to Cambridge Ice Rink takes about an hour and a half but once there, we will get to skate for an hour and a half on the 7pm session.
Afterwards, on the journey home we will have the opportunity to stop at McDonald's (providing it is open) and will arrive back at UEA for roughly 11pm.
This session costs £8, including skates and transport.
If you don't require transport please buy the £5 ticket which covers entry to the rink and skates.
If you need skates, there will be a post on our Facebook event, where you can tell us your shoe size and the type of skate you want (figure or hockey), we will try to accommodate as best as possible. You will also need to comment on the transport post to guarantee a space on the bus.
