GeekSoc does World Book Day

This Thursday is World Book Day, so we're celebrating with a book-themed extravaganza in NewSci 0.08 from 18:30 on Thursday. We'll be dressing up as characters from our favourite books, and if you'd like to then you're very welcome to do the same! (No pressure though - we know that's not everyone's cup of tea.)

Bring along any unwanted books for our GeekSoc BookSwap™ - hardback, paperback, comics, graphic novels, audiobook CDs, the instruction booklet that came with your breadmaker, it all counts! - then stick around for an intriguingly bookish quiz hosted by several different members of the committee one after another like a kind of loosely-choreographed plate-spinning routine that could fall apart at any moment but actually turns out to be rather impressive! It's sure to be a wild time, and we can't wait to see you there!
