Join UEA GeekSoc on Thursday evening from 18:30 in NewSci 0.08 to play some tabletop role-playing games!

RPGs are a kind of collaborative storytelling game, where players each take on the role of a character, and a ‘Game Master’ narrates the other details of the world. Whenever a character attempts to do something difficult, their player must roll one or more dice to find out how well they succeed (or how badly they fail!) and the story continues from there.

It should be a whole lot of fun, and you don’t need to be an experienced RPG player to come along; all of the games we’re running will be beginner-friendly, but you’re also welcome to just watch if you’d rather, and there will be board games and card games too if that’s more your cup of tea! You don’t need to bring anything with you as everything you need will be provided, but if you want to bring along your own dice (or other assorted RPG accoutrements) then feel free!
