Snetterton Race Track Visit

Join us at our second event of the year, and we are going off campus to our local circuit: Snetterton!

This is our first Track Visit, and this will be held on Sunday the 6th of October. There will be many events and races held during the day including: Focus Cup, Boxter Cup, GT Cup Championship Finale and more. Whether you have been to a track before, or not and if you know anything about these races it doesn't matter! Come along and have a day out for experiences.

As this is in October, the weather may vary! So please dress and bring accordingly: Rain coat, umbrellas, flat foot wear (a spare pair if it rains!), scarves etc. There will be lots of photo opportunities at Snetterton as many of the garages and stands that are not on the pit are open for the public to view and take photos of. Do note that there could be additional costs of YOUR CHOICE such as food stands, merch stalls, day programmes etc.

Tickets:

Snetterton is approximately 30minutes away from campus by driving and there is free parking on site at Snetterton. You are more than welcome to meet us on site if you are driving as we will have the tickets with us. 

Transport is limited to the circuit however you can access Snetterton by train and you can walk to the circuit (45minutes) or call a cab. 

However, 3 committee members will be driving and can offer transport for 10 people. These tickets will be open to members first BUT if you are a member who is driving and you are open to taking other members please let us know and we will compensate your fuel costs.

Ticket Prices:

Members sorting their own travel: £15

Non Members sorting their own travel: £17

Members REQUIRING transport: £25

Non members REQUIRING transport: £27

For those who are having transport provided by committee/members we will message you with confirmed times but as it stands:

We will meet at the Congregation Hall at 7:45am, leaving by 8:10am at the latest. We will meet additional memeber who have traveled at the entrance approximately 8:50am. We will leave after the final races approximately 5:30pm with the aim to be on campus by 6:15pm traffic and race dependant. We also encourage you to bring a camping chair or similar that you are happy to carry at the circuit so we can set up for the majority of the day
