Thetford Day walk

Meet us @ Norwich train station for 9:30 (10:03) train on the 16th of March for a day walk to thetford forest!

This a beautiful walk that will take us through the winding paths of Thetford forest which sits on the border of Suffolk and Norfolk. Thetford is the largest lowland pine forest in Britain and one of the largest man-made forests in England spanning 18,730 hectares. Bursting with wildlife and biodiversity this walk will provide some excellent opportunities to spot wildlife and to explore a new corner of Norfolk (and Suffolk!). 

Length: 10 miles (16 km)

What to bring: waterproofs, walking shoes, water and a packed lunch.

Notes: We will be getting the train to Thetford! Not a bus! Please wait to buy a train ticket until the day as the group discount is the same as the rail card one.
