Castle acre walk
Sunday 02 March 2025, 9:30am - 5pm
UEA Megabus Stop
This walk is replacing our Ickworth trip!
Castle Acre is a tiny village but with some very large history - a spectacular priory and a huge ruined castle. We'll make time to visit the outside of the priory and to climb the walls of the castle. The walk itself combines sections of the river, woods and fields in an ancient landscape that has been farmed for millenia. This walk also has one of my favourite cafes that does the most incredible hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows (amongst other things)! So come and join us on this beautiful walk!
