An adapted version of the Felbrigg Circular Walk - a country house and estate near Cromer.

Introducing the new Adapted Felbrigg Circular Walk, specially designed to shake things up for this year’s returning members! This fresh route takes you through the best of the British countryside, with wide-open fields, enchanting woodland, sunken lanes, and even a scenic coastal viewpoint. Along the way, we’ll explore historic buildings and uncover some quirky gems of the Felbrigg Estate, such as a tree that was struck by lightning and hollowed out. It’s a walk full of surprises, perfect for both new and returning walkers!

Length: 7.5 miles with terrain that can become muddy.

Meet: please meet at 10 am at Norwich bus station, stand N. This is not on campus, but can be reached by taking the 25 or 26 bus into the city centre. (follow link for our reel on how to get there from campus by bus

Please bring: walking boots (preferable but not essential on this walk), packed lunch, water, weather suitable clothing e.g. raincoat, overtrousers, sunhat, suncream. Layers that can be taken on and off are recommended. Jeans are not recommended as once wet, they take a long time to dry - sports leggings or trousers are a good alternative.

NOTE: there will be a chance to buy some food from the national trust cafe but there is unlikely be space to sit inside.
