Get ready for an explosion of colour, music, and celebration at Rangeela – UEA’s very own take on the Holi festival, led by the Hindu Society!

Holi, also known as the Festival of Colours, is a joyful celebration that marks the arrival of spring. Traditionally celebrated by Hindu communities across India, Nepal, and beyond, it’s a festival that symbolises love, unity, and the triumph of good over evil. At its heart is the iconic colour throwing, where people cover each other in vibrant powders, creating a rainbow of happiness and togetherness!

This event is open to everyone – students, staff, and members of the community, regardless of faith, background, or culture. Whether you celebrate Holi every year or are experiencing it for the first time, come along for an unforgettable day filled with:
Colour throwing – grab some powder and join in!
Music & dancing – move to the rhythm of the beats!
Delicious snacks – fuel up on tasty treats!

Important info:
Due to ongoing waterworks on campus, running water and toilet facilities will be limited. Please plan accordingly.
