Calling all sports clubs...the UEA Sport Awards are back!

 

The UEA Sport Awards will be taking place on Friday 9th May. The awards are a chance for us to celebrate our achievements in sport and to recognise outstanding contributions both socially, competitively and professionally over the past year. 

We hope to have as many clubs & volunteers at the event as possible! Please note this event is for uea+sport membership holders only.  

 

Here are the important timelines for ticket purchasing and award nominations: 

• Saturday 1st March 09:00am: tickets on sale and awards nominations open 

• Tuesday 1st April 09:00am: awards nominations close 

• Monday 14th April 12:00pm: individuals/teams/clubs are informed if they have been shortlisted for any awards and can purchase tickets 

• Sunday 20th April 22:00pm: all ticket sales close 

 

Event Details 

When: Friday 9th May 2025 

Where: LCR, Union House, University of East Anglia, NR4 7TJ 

Cost: £38 - Meat Ticket, £36 - Vegeterian Ticket (plus booking fee, ticket price includes 2 course meal with a drink upon entry) 

Arrival Time: 7pm – 7:45pm 

Awards Start: 8pm sharp

Dress Code: Formal  

Awards Close: 11pm 

Blue Bar After Party: 11pm - 1:30am (free of charge)

Mains:

Charcuterie platter 

• Warm new potatoes with preserved lemon & thyme 

• Mediterranean vegetable cous-cous with harissa dressing 

• Chargrilled mixed peppers 

• Cos, tomato & cucumber salad with French dressing 

• Houmous & French bread 

• Pesto marinated Mozzarella, & mixed olives 

 

Vegan Mèze platter (VG) 

• Vegan feta cheese 

• Warm new potatoes with preserved lemon & thyme 

• Mediterranean vegetable cous-cous with harissa dressing

• Marinated artichokes & mixed olives 

• Cos, tomato & cucumber salad with French dressing 

• Houmous & French bread

• Belgian chocolate Sable biscuit tart , Vegan chantilly cream, & seasonal berry compote 

• Plant based Italian chocolate torte (VG) (GF), Vegan chantilly cream, & seasonal berry compote
