Decriminalise Sex Work - Safety First - CANCELLED
Monday 20 March 2023, 2pm - 3pm
Online
Cari Mitchell and Olivia Smith are spokeswomen for the English Collective of Prostitutes (ECP), which is a network of women who work or have worked in different areas of the sex industry – both on the streets and indoors.
Founded in 1975, the ECP campaigns for decriminalisation and safety. It fights legal cases including against charges of soliciting, Anti-Social Behaviour Orders and brothel-keeping – a charge most often used against women working together in premises and for housing, benefits student grants etc. so that no woman, young person or man is forced into prostitution by poverty.
