Film Screenings: Indigenous Rights and Culture

Indigenous Rights and Culture: screening and discussion of five short films from the "Women of Influence" project with film creators from Peru.

Come and meet, in person, the young representatives of a women's activist group from Peru who have been working with researchers at UEA to develop, through film, a project about leadership, women's rights, community participation, effects of climate change on food and water security, and the value of ancestral knowledge and indigenous languages. The discussion will include the impact of the current volatile and deadly political situation in Peru.

Afterwards, all the participants will enjoy pizza!
