Democracy

The University of East Anglia Students’ Union is run by you, our members. Unions are democratic structures that are there to represent and fight for the interests and rights of their members and this Students’ Union is no different. Student voice is at the heart of what we do. it is about ensuring that all students are being heard by the University, and able to make change to their student experience. This may be on issues that directly affect students in their degrees, such as early deadlines on an assessment, or it may be issues that affect students as individuals or a collective, such as discrimination. Through campaigns, democracy, and representation, we want to empower students to make change for the better. From course representation, to campaigns and union council motions,  our Student Voice aims to ensure very member has an opportunity to direct us and have a say on how we are run.
